Situated in down town old Lamu Town, this privately owned
B&B/Guesthouse is only a 5 minute walk from the sea front. Mlangi Langi
House is named after a tree which grows next to the house. These trees
only grow in Lamu, Zanzibar and Madagascar. They produce aromatic yellow
flowers which are used in producing perfume. The night scent is so
romantic and if indeed you wish a little "romance" then we will put some
of these flowers on your pillow.

and living area; next to this there is a smaller room
with a single bed and has a view overlooking Lamu, shower and toilet.

Floor: Has two Zanzibari beds, a lounge with antique

Fred
is a certified Swahili cook and is available to cook for you if you so
wish. He is also the caretaker and lives at the rear of the premises
behind the kitchen. He has previously worked in Italian kitchens and
produces delicious Italian dishes. He also produces a variety of dishes
and his Biriani Crab is a speciality. If you wish to do all the catering
yourself then the kitchen is all yours.

Hills Game Reserve. Set back from the white palm fringed sands on Diani

Flamboyant's large verandah and dining area over looks the
swimming pool, surrounded by a lush garden. The house has ten
air-conditioned ensuite double bedrooms, lounge areas and a small bar.
The rooms are tastefully decorated, most of which overlook the
pool and the Indian Ocean just 50 metres beyond. The honeymoon suites
are situated on the 1st floor with stunning ocean views. These spacious
suites are private and cosy with their own lounge area.
Flamboyant has a traditional thatched gazebo overlooking the
Indian Ocean, suitable for private parties or intimate weddings.
Flamboyant staff can organise the ceremony, decor and catering. Deep sea
fishing can be arranged from Forty Thieves Beach Bar, adjacent to the
house. The house grounds consists of a tennis court, squash court and
billiard room. Wireless Internet connection is also available. Close by
is an 18 hole golf course and an airstrip that serves most game parks.

Inclusions/Exclusions
Rates are fully inclusive of three meals per day at Flamboyant
and local beers, sodas, soft drinks, house wines and spirits. Premium
brand wines and spirits will be charged extra.
Special Arrangements
Flamboyant guests may also take lunch and/or dinner at Forty
Thieves Beach Bar at no extra cost for food and dinner at the unique Ali
Barbour's Cave Restaurant with 50% discount on food. At both venues
guests will be required to pay for drinks.
Terms and Conditions
To confirm a booking they require a 50% deposit of the total
amount.
Their cancellation policy is as follows:- 30 days - 20% of the
total amount will be retained.
Less than 1 month notice - 50% of the total amount will be
retained.
NO
refund will be given on cancellations or no show of 5 days or less.
