Diani Beach is located 35 kilometres South of Mombasa, Kenya’s second
city and East Africa’s largest port. As Mombasa is on an island there is
a short trip across the likoni creek on a ferry. Situated 300 metres
from the Diani Beach main shopping centre and 600 metres from the beach
are 15 fully furnished cottages for short, medium or long term rental.
Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, a shower/toilet, fully equipped kitchen
with open plan dining/living area, a spacious terrace and laundry
facilities are available on the site. Optional services available for a
small fee include local TV, wireless internet, cleaning/laundry and a
cook.
The compound is 1 hectare (2.4 acres) and has a relaxed atmosphere with
a beautiful tropical garden. The cottages are 70 square metres and
suitable for up to 4 people. The central area has a swimming pool with
a bar/restaurant on site and car parking facilities. Food and drinks are
available from 10am till 10pm, though occasionally it stays open for
longer. Food can be served on your terrace at your request.
Local activities include deep sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling.
Windsurfing, kite surfing, jet skiing plus an assortment of trips on
dhows or glass bottom boats to take in the local marine attractions.
Additionally, only 30 kilometres away is the Shimba Hills national
reserve with its healthy population of elephants and the last remaining
sanctuary of the Sable antelope. If you are very lucky you may spot a
leopard.

The restaurant sits in the middle of the hotel and has a seating
capacity of 60 guests. Excellent international as well as African dishes
are available. The Indian Ocean, right on the doorstep supplies an
endless source of fresh seafood. Meals are served in a choice of two
main courses and a buffet is served every week. The “Green Palm” bar is
situated at the entrance to the hotel compound and is a meeting place
for everyone including tourists from the neighbouring hotels as well as
locals. Relax around the bar after a hard day on the beach and enjoy an
endless list of cocktails!
